little fox pebble and the inspiration behind it

Here's my new little pebble necklace, based on the sighting of the fox from my walk I wrote about in the last post (click on the photo for more details of the necklace).

I thought I'd show you the picture I took of the fox, although it's a bit blurry I was still so happy to get a photo of the little fellow. We were almost at the edge of the field when Mr P spotted him. I think he must have watched us all the way across, sat so silent and still. It really made my day ♥

A beautiful fox, and a beautiful job of interpreting it.

I remember a year or two back seeing three fox cubs with their mum/dad wandering through our garden. They really were very cute. You were lucky to see this little one on your travels. x

How lucky to have them in your garden! You've reminded me of some other photos I took last summer in Pembrokeshire when we came across two fox cubs playing, so sweet, they had no idea we were there. They're a bit blurry too but perhaps I will dig them out :-)

Thanks, I was going to call the pebble Mr Fox but then I had the same dilemma! :-)

CUTENESS!!!! i've never seen a fox head-on before, i usually find they're much more timid and not so bold! well done! you must have given him an immediately friendly impression to get him to pose for you like that! i love the little fox pebble too!

Yes, very cute! I saw a programme not so long ago that said foxes would make the ideal pet, affectionate and obedient like a dog but independant like a cat.
